These organic barley flakes are ideal for breakfast, for granola or to add texture to your muffins or cookies. The flakes are stabilized by neutralizing the enzyme that triggers rancidity. They have a slightly thicker texture than oatmeal.

Organic barley flakes are prepared by simmering over low heat (8-10 min) 2 parts water to 1 part flakes.

The flakes can be stored for approximately 180 to 270 days. It is ideal to store the flakes in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, protected from light
