Indications: Sweet mint tea has a digestive action but a little less powerful than peppermint, its taste is more delicate, less pungent. Green mint should be considered as a softer and calming solution to treat indigestion, gas-related pain and nausea. It is more calming than peppermint which can be a bit exciting. This herbal tea is especially used in cases of childhood fevers. Not as vigorous as peppermint, green mint will stimulate perspiration, so it is indicated in mild to moderate fevers if the skin is hot and dry (can accompany the yarrow and/or catarrh in childhood fevers). Refreshing in summer, drink it ice-cold, add it to your canteen during sports activities (with nettle and oats to replace lost minerals by sweating).

Dosage: Infuse a full tablespoon in a cup of boiling water, cover, infuse 5 minutes and filter. Drink 1 to 3 cups a day. Children, drink 1/4 cup 1 - 3/ day.
